I posted a little while ago about the box art competition for the cover of King of Fighters XII. Though I didn't think either American cover was bad per se (I actually kind of like them), there was quite a bit of feedback from fans that none of the original options really suited the game well. This was exacerbated quite a bit by the fact that when the Japanese box art was released (even with the predominantly featured Ash Crimson), a lot of fans on Ignition's forums began asking why we weren't getting those designs in the US version of the game.
As a way to satisfy fans and put things to a final vote, Ignition USA has opened two new threads on their forum pitting the Japanese box vs the American box art to determine which will be gracing the cover of King of Fighters XII this summer.
The box art vote for the Playstation 3 version can be found here, while the vote for the Xbox 360 version is here. Voting ends on May 22nd.
