Otomedius Now Available in Japan

Arcade Heroes was kind enough to point out that Konami's spiritual successor to the Parodius series, Otomedius, is now seeing a wide release in arcades across Japan. It should be interesting to see how the game performs overall considering that this is the first Konami arcade shooter in a good number of years.

Below is a video of a 6 man set up at the Hey Akihabara arcade posted by milafi on YouTube! Not much in the way of gameplay, but it is a good shot of the machines on location.
